Recent Projects

Finally...... a new post! Somehow life gets ahead of me and I just don't find the time to post as often as I'd like. Nonetheless here is a new post with some of my most recent projects. I don't seem to find much time to craft at home right now. Usually my time there is spent taking care of Raine, doing housework and working on our kitchen remodel. However, I am blessed to have a job that allows me to create at "work." I took my camera along today so I could show you all my creations! I was in the mood to make some tags! :) If anyone is interested, click here to visit the country craft cupboard website. If you live in the area stop in a check us out! All of the tags below plus hundreds more samples are to be found on display in store. We are a craft supply store with everything from rug hooking supplies to scrapbooking to fabric and cross stitch.

Here is my mess. haha. Creative minds are seldom tidy right?

And here is another of my recent projects. :) 29 weeks and counting!

This week I'm joining Cindy over at My Romantic Home for Show and Tell Friday and Kim at Twice Remembered for Make your Monday. Head over and check them out!

Have a blessed weekend!

Flea Market Finds

Happy wednesday! The sun is finally shining and the sky is blue! Ahhhh..... just what I needed! Thank you Lord! :)

I have lately been suffering from the remodeling blues and needed some sort of creative outlet! However, my craft room is currently buried under all of our furniture and boxes of things from the rooms we are remodeling. :( So, instead I was able to carve out some time in the past couple weeks to do some thrifting. I feel blessed to live in the area I do. We have A LOT of great antique malls, thrift stores, and flea markets! :) :)

Also, if you notice - my pictures are bigger! yay! I hope to work on my editing skills soon to get my pictures to look even better but for now I'm liking the new look! Cindy over at My Romantic Home posted a link on a great (and simple!) tutorial about enlarging your pictures. Click here to see it.

So without further ado..........

most of this stuff is from a local thrift store. (Share & Care in Berlin for those of you who are familiar with the area.) the birdhouse display is a hand-me-down from my grandma. isn't it great? the linen & lace cloth napkins I got at a local antique mall. they were half price!! $2.00 for a set of seven!!

tea cups for 25 cents each.

$1.00 each for the vase and metal bin.

here is the cute little wagon I got at the antique mall. I just thought it was too adorable to pass up. this was my splurge at $12.00. Not to shabby if I do say so myself! I'm thinking of planting flowers in it this spring/summer.

This week I am linking up with My Romantic Home for Show and Tell Friday.
